Pensaba en la reunion de mi clase graduada este viernes y de repente sale esto...25 a/nos ya, y pareciera que fue ayer.
For the uninitiated in the Marvel universe, here is Kraven:
UPDATE:
October 23, 2011
La reunion fue el viernes. Gozamos un monton. By the way, Mildred y yo fuimos...check it out! Por si acaso...Lados opuestos, como los bettas...
My 30th year high school school reunion (Jose de Diego High School en Mayaguez) was supposed to be in 2003. There was none :-(
ReplyDeleteI'm doing a translation like crazy to leave early today. I don't expect a large turnout today. I just expect a couple of old college friends to have some beers with.
ReplyDeleteI'll tell later whether or not there will be any issues (my wife is from this same class, the divorce is scheduled for next week...)
She may be happy, with the Cirque du Soleil show she went to yesterday, her B-Day and hanging with old high school friends.
Everybody seems happy! ...on the pic, lol sorry about the divorce!
ReplyDeleteIt was really fun. Our class was around 93 graduates, about 30 made it. Bettas was a good reference. Each minded his own business and we had our separate happy times.
ReplyDeleteDivorce is on Friday. I'll mention later how screwed I got on the deal...
Lucky you, able to see some of the former classmates...Your misanthropist servant would not get that chance, even considering that out of the four hundred in my class, I had about ten friends...
ReplyDeleteBay di guai, I wrote a post on the year book...a while a go...before the sabbatical
I do remember those few posts telling that story!!! As a matter of fact my class had a similar affair. The case went to the courts and all. When we finally got the money back we did a 10 year reunion and donated the rest to a charitable institution.
ReplyDeleteNow most of the pictures taken have been circulating around and sometimes pop out in facebook or flikr albums.
Of course, as my reclusive self was on those days, there are no pictures of me at that time...Most of the friends from the class were added after the accident or from our studies in Mayaguez.
It had an explanation. I was the nomad type. The most I spent in a school was 2 - 3 years. So it was always a process of changing friends and places to hang around...
Hope my son does not have to pass through the whole deal. Must be enough for him to have two houses now (at some point this year it was 3 or 4 since we ocassionally stayed at my mom's).
